Personal:

From the moment John hooked his first ever fish at age 5 he knew that somehow fishing would forever become a major part of his life. Originally from the west coast John grew up Bass Fishing the waters of Northern California - Clear Lake, Shasta, Spring lake, and Lake Sonoma to name a few. John also grew up spending many summer days with a fly rod in his hand fishing for trout on the many Blue Ribbon trout streams of the west. Henrys Fork, Madison, Yellowstone, Green , and the Provo River among his favorites. John is an accomplished Fly Fisherman and has spent several years as a Fly Fishing Guide in Utah, and Tierra Del Fuego South America. He now resides in Northern Virginia and has since traded in his fly rod and waders for a flippin stick and a 20' Triton X2. John is now a Bass Guide on Lake Anna and fishes competitively in tournament circuits throughout the East coast. When he is not on the water John spends much of his time teaching others through seminars at trade shows and working with youth anglers.
